Thanksgiving Break happened last week, and let’s just say it was much needed! Middle schoolers reunited with their family members spent time with grandparents, and some even traveled all over the world. This essential break lets students catch up on some sleep and just take a break from their schoolwork. Let’s hear from some students about where they went for Thanksgiving.
Samantha Paramore, a seventh grader, went to Charlotte, North Carolina. She and her family went for the high school cross-country meet. She went shopping at the mall. Her favorite thing that she ate was “turkey because it was not burnt this year and tasted extremely good.”
Mr.Couch, the seventh-grade math teacher, went to Loganville, Georgia for this year’s Thanksgiving break. He spent time with his family there for a Thanksgiving meal. His favorite thing that he ate for Thanksgiving was “Huddy’s mac and cheese because it was really good.”
This year’s Thanksgiving was a major success and now the middle schoolers are ready to face these next three weeks before winter break!
