The library has always had lots of projects going on from stickers to puzzles. Now, the library is introducing a new project: a collage made out of popsicle sticks. How does it work? Well, popsicle sticks are available at the desk of the library along with markers to decorate them. All you have to do is take a couple moments to decorate a popsicle stick. Then, once enough popsicle sticks have been collected, they will be joined together to create a collage. The popsicle sticks are available to everyone who uses the Bertlesmann Library, and the Lower School will also be creating their very own popsicle stick collage as well.
This collage is a great opportunity to express yourself even if you’re not very artistic, and it doesn’t take very much time. According to junior Remy Marty, the collage inspires “great artwork, and it’s a chance to improve the community in the library.” There’s always a group of students in the library, so you can meet new people while you’re decorating your popsicle sticks. Sophomore Emma Jane thinks that it’s “really cool.” Additionally, both Emma Jane and Annie Luke, a junior, said that “it’s lots of fun.”
The library is always a great place to hang out, whether you want to talk to your friends, or you really need to get some work done before class. Now, there’s also a chance to meet new people and create some fun artwork!
